My gratitude to co-authors and collaborators from different parts of the world.

In short: 5 articles in journals, 4 book chapters and 5 papers presented in international scientific conferences; 12 of them in English, 1 in Portuguese and 1 in Spanish; 13 of them on diverse topics of tourism management (especially, halal tourism, smart tourism and tourism circular economy) and 1 of generic character within the field of strategic management.

In addition, I have co-supervised a PhD dissertation at the University of Verona (Italy), titled "Better late than never: Leading hospitality toward a more sustainable path" (defended in May 27th), and served as examiner (chair) of PhD dissertations at the Spanish Universities of Seville and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The assessment of this output (which doesn't include other research activities, biannual edition of ET Journal, knowledge transfer to the society, and the work done in ongoing/in preparation projects) should be done taking into account that it has been reached with almost no financial support. It is important to bear this in mind because a fair research assessment should consider a measure of productivity, that is a ratio between outputs and inputs, which is usually missing.
