NEW DEVELOPMENTS IN HYPER-TOURISM IN THE AGE OF DIGITAL INTELLIGENCE

The University of Huelva, in the facilities of the Faculty of Work Sciences in El Carmen campus, will host from February 13 to 15, 2019, the 21st International Conference on IT Applications and Management (ITAM- 21), which will be developed under the topic "New Developments in Hyper-Tourism in the Age of Digital Intelligence". It is organized by the UHU in collaboration with the International ITAM Society and the Korea Data Strategy Society. Dr. Namjae Cho (President of the International ITAM Society) and Dr. Gyungmin Kim (President of the Korea Data Strategy Society) will be present.



It is an international forum designed to ease the exchange of ideas, knowledge and advances in scientific research regarding the application of information technologies to management and, particularly in this edition, to the transformation of management practices in the tourism industry.

Keynote speakers will be José Ignacio Castillo-Manzano, from the University of Seville (with the opening lecture titled "Trends in the Spanish economy and its tourist industry"), Luiz Moutinho, from the University of Suffolk ("Fatiloquence of Tourism, Technology and the Human Frontier") and Kanes Rajah, from the Center for Executive and Professional Development of London (with the closing speech on "Digital Age Technologies and Their Impact on Tourism, Terrorism and Teenage Fantasies"). 

In addition, there will be nine parallel sessions on the following topics: New Developments in Tourism; Social Changes; Creativity and Managing Emotions; Performance Management; Entrepreneurship and Family Business; IT Applications and Media Effects; Business Analysis and Management; Education, Technology and Management; Services Transformation.

There will also be an industrial visit to Cepsa-La Rábida to know the strategies of this company, particularly at international level.

60 researchers will participate, mainly from Asian countries (South Korea, China, Thailand, India, Nepal, Malaysia), as well as European researchers (from the United Kingdom, Slovakia, Spain) and North America (Canada and United States).
